Discussion on Employment Opportunities for Deaf Individuals

On 3rd June 2024, we organized a discussion regarding the employment issues of persons with disabilities with private & Central & Local governmental bodies in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. The discussions were focused on creating employment opportunities in the hospitality sector for the deaf people who are having hospitality related training at Coccina Mitho Chha School of Hospitality. After hours of discussion some of the private sector like the Founder of Nice Foundation Mr. Jagadish Bhattarai, is excited to enroll the best two trainees from our Hospitality Training program happening at Coccina Mitho Chha. Likewise, the HR officer from Ambassador Hotel Kathmandu, Ms. Kabita Rayamaji, committed to try best to enrollone of the candidates from our training package. Likewise many other private sectors were positive regarding the issues we discussed and they put their insightful thoughts during the discussion. The discussions were attended as a Chief Guest by Ms. Sannani Lama, Deputy Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipalityand the Deputy Secretary of Women, Children & Senior Citizen Mr. Binod Kumar Dhal.
