On 16th July 2024, the Inclusive Employment Campaign had a Steering Committee Meeting under our USAID Inclusive Livelihood Central Activities at Hotel Hardik Bagbazar, Kathmandu.
The meeting was attended by the Under Secretary of Ministry Of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Mr.Dambar Bahadur Sanuwar, Under Secretary of Ministry of Ministry of Women,Children and Senior Citizens Ms. Kamala Ghimire and Ms. Bhima Thapa Deputy Head of Social Development Section of Gokarneshwor Municipality .
Representatives from Cocina Mitho Chha, Subisu Cablenet, Worldlink Communications, Nice Foundation etc. were present representing the Private Sector in the meeting. Private sectors share their ideas and commitment of creating new employment for persons with disabilities in the meeting whereas government stakeholders commit to look out some policy interventions for Facilitating the employment issues of the persons with disabilities in Nepal.
