We organized an interaction program with the local government, private employers and persons with disability who are seeking employment as well as are engaging in some self-employment of formal employment in Nayabasti 5 Gokarneshwor Municipality Kathmandu Nepal on 7th June 2024
We invite our self-help groups leaders from USAID Inclusive Livelihood Central Activity working in Gokarneshwor Municipality for sharing their progress and sustainability as well as the role of Local government for promoting their self-help groups.
Similarly there were some participants who are personally involving in self-employment who shares their inspiring stories in the interaction.
Some participant shares the ideas to promote & sell as more as they produce of our self-help groups made items with the help of Social Media Campaign, ICT and boosting the items in different social media like Facebook, Instragram etc.
The discussion was attended by Deputy Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality, Ms. Sannani Lama, Mr. Lokendra Khadka, Program Head of Youth and Small Entrepreneurship self employment fund (YSEF), General Secretary of Federation of Women with Disability-Nepal Page Ms. Rama Dhakal etc. More then 60 participants with different disabilities were present in the discussion.
