DHRC Executive Director Mr Jagadish Prasad Adhikari and Media Coordinator Mr Nabaraj Soti had a fruitful meeting with Mr Sameer Ghorasaine, Head of Business Intelligence and Growth at Merojob, Nepal’s leading online jobs portal, at Merojob Head Office in Kathmandu.
Both organizations were in agreement about the importance of creating and promoting employment opportunities for persons with disabilities in Nepal.
Merojob is also committed to being a disability-inclusive employer itself, and has employed Ms Jamuna Gautam, a partially-sighted person, as their Front Desk In-charge.
We believe that this meeting has been a significant step in the journey of the Inclusive Employment Campaign in Nepal.
We look forward to further collaboration, and would like to thank Mr Sameer Ghorasaine for his valuable time and ideas for promoting disability-inclusive employment.
