Cocina Mitho Chha, the School of Hospitality, located in Lazimpat, offers a welcoming atmosphere and serene surroundings. Under the guidance of its Director Devendra Pokharel, the restaurant actively fosters inclusion by providing employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities. Recently, in co-ordination with Forward Looking Nepal, Cocina Mitho Chha successfully conducted a Barista training program designed for young people with disabilities.
Devendra Pokharel envisions a future where businesses like cafes, hotels and restaurants are operated solely by people with disabilities, and he aims to garner government attention and support to turn this vision into reality.
