Dr Rajesh Dhoj Joshi
Established in 1993 as a small community referral center with only 18 beds, KMH was upgraded to a 50-bed hospital in 1995. Since 2003, it has become a tertiary care hospital with various specialist services.
In addition to its remarkable journey, KMH demonstrates a commitment to inclusion by currently employing four individuals with disabilities. Recognizing the value of diverse perspectives and abilities, the hospital has plans to further expand its inclusive employment practices by welcoming more disabled individuals into its workforce in the future.
Dr Rajesh Dhoj Joshi, who had visually impaired friends during his school days, now serves as hospital director. Committed to fostering inclusive employment practices, he advocates for treating disabled individuals without discrimination. Dr Joshi appreciates and acknowledges everybody’s working abilities, emphasizing the importance of recognizing their potential.
As a hospital director, he actively promotes inclusive employment within the healthcare sector, setting an example for others. Dr Joshi urges private institutions to follow suit, encouraging them to embrace diversity and provide equal opportunities for disabled individuals. Through his leadership, Dr Joshi is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment that values the contributions of every team member.
